Mission Statement for 1st Tennessee Cavalry, USV

To actively and accurately portray a Volunteer Union Cavalryman of the Western Theatre during the time period of 1861-1865 known as the Civil War. Using the manuals, rules and regulations of the time period regarding command structure, field commands and tactics, camp equipage, uniforms, accouterments, horse care, use, and equipage.
