SCOTTY KILBOURNE, Sergeant
Scotty and his son Kurtis has been with the 1st Tennessee since 2000. Scotty is a computer program Instructor and travels all over the US giving lectures which has enabled him to develop a wicked sense of humor. Scotty lives with his wife Gina in Rockford, Tennessee. Scotty rides a 26 year old Tennessee Walking Horse named Pride of Texas (Tex)

WILLIAM CARROLL, 2nd Sargent
William has been reenacting for 16 years and has been with the 1st Tennessee Cavalry for the past 11 years. By trade he is a Heavy Equipment Operator working Construction and has been a Certified Farrier for 20 years. William lives in Loudon, Tennessee with his son, Nathaniel.

TIM SPIES, Corporal
Tim started reenacting in 1997 and has been with the 1st Tennessee Cavalry since 2000. Tim lives with his wife, Sandy, in Sequatchie, Tennessee where they have an drug and alcohol out reach center and equine assited healthcare therapy helping the physical and mentaly handicaped using horses called the S.A.A ranch

PAT CALDWELL, Private
Pat has been reenacting for 17 years and joined the 1st Tennessee Cavalry in 2008. He previously rode with the 35th Virginia Cavalry the 2nd US/9th Virginia Cavalry Cavalry. Between working as an E.R. Physician and a member of the Navy Reserve, we are thankful when he can join us. Pat lives with his wife Lillian and family in Hendersonville, TN

NATHANIEL CARROLL, Private
Nathaniel has grown up in the reenacting hobby with his father, William, and attends school in Loudon, Tennessee.

Sarah Cheaves, Private, Unit Hostler
Sarah has grown up in Civil War Re-Enacting attending her first event when she was 2 months old. She has also grown up on horses and has numerous ribbons and awards from showing Hunter/Jumper and Western Pleasure. She is currently attending college majoring in Agriculture Science/Business. Sarah lives with her father, Michael Cheaves, in Jefferson City, Tennessee, where she takes care of their 12 horses and farm.

JAMES KING, Private
James has been reenacting since 1991 and has been with the 1st Tennessee Cavalry since 1993. James works as a independent contractor and is attending College, majoring in mechanical engineering. James lives with his wife Andrea and daughter Caitlin in Watkinsville, Georgia. James and his family also enjoy Medieval and Buck skinning reenactments and are active in Scottish activities. James takes every chance that he can get to be outside hiking, rock climbing and riding horses with his family. He is an avid history buff and hopes to visit all the original Civil War battlefields someday.

BILL MCCAULEY, Private
Bill has been reenacting for 15 years, starting out with the 8th Tennessee Infantry and was promoted to Color Sargent. He joined the 1st Tennessee in 2007. Bill is a native of New Jersey and loves studying military history. Bill works for the Tennessee Department of Transportation and lives in Morristown with his wife Bree and children.

GEORGE “SANDY” MCNAMEE, Private
George has been with the 1st Tennessee Cavalry since 2009. George works as a computer programmer for a company based in Atlanta and is an accomplished Wood Worker/Craftsman. He has been involved in Medieval Re-Enacting for over 35 years. George lives with his wife Christy in Jefferson, Georgia along with two dogs and three horses.

DENNIS WATSON, Private
Dennis has been reenacting for 8 years and has been with the 1st Tennessee Cavalry since 2007. Dennis was previously with the Michigan Brigade. Dennis works in the Metallurgy field and lives in Grimsley, Tennessee.
